Marquette is a progressive community and a great
place to live and raise your family.

We offer a friendly, small town atmosphere and an excellent education
for your children in a safe school system, with small classes, where all
students can participate in sports and activities.

We take pride in our municipal swimming pool, summer recreation
programs, dance and karate studio, three churches, community
garden, fitness center, licensed day care facility and preschool, and in
our very interesting business district. A grocery store, bank, library, gift
shops, art studio, photography studio, museums and eating
establishments make up our historic downtown area.

You will find lower cost rental homes, a well-run nursing home facility
and new senior apartments.

In addition to all that Marquette offers, a short drive to nearby
Kanopolis Lake adds the perfect backdrop for camping, boating,
mountain biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and hunting.

The steps in applying for a free lot are:
